Looking Forward After an Exciting Summer

View of Baldy after the fire.
As many of you know, on August 7 amid dry summer conditions, a lightning strike sparked a fire miles from Sun Valley. As concert-goers and Gallery Walk enthusiasts watched the evening sky turn from blue to orange and chocolate, the fire swirled closer and closer, day by day.  By August 12th, neighborhoods were evacuated.  The fire eventually burned through Greenhorn, Deercreek and Croy Canyons, but fortunately, the fire never burned Baldy or its flanks.  The fire is out, grass is replacing the scorched sage hills, and life has returned to normal.

No evidence of the burn can be seen from any view in Ketchum, Sun Valley, Elkhorn or Warm Springs.  And with a dusting of snow received from a recent storm, winter skiing seems just around the corner.  But first, a favorite time of year - autumn.
We all would like to invite you back this fall to enjoy the changing colors or to simply breathe deeply in this beautiful mountain environment.   There are restaurants to try, trails to hike, and homes to purchase.  If we can be of assistance, please contact us.  We look forward to seeing you soon.
