Did you know ArtPlace Magazine named Ketchum as one of its
top 12 United States Small Art towns?
This weekend, October 19-20, 2013, the Wood River Valley Studio Tour
opens the studio doors of over fifty artists to the general public. Come view the creative talent the beautiful
Sun Valley region fosters.
Starting in Bellevue, in the south end of the valley to
Ketchum, in the north end, and everything in between, visit the studios of ceramic,
drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking
and sculpture artists. Step behind the
scenes, to admire close up work and process in the studio. This free, self-guided tour allows visitors
to plan their own itinerary, with time to take in the local Sun Valley culinary
cuisine.

An artist reception will be held on Saturday, October 19th
from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Wood River Fine Arts gallery in Ketchum. A group
exhibition featuring a work of art created by each artist will be on
display. The “Mosaic Project” will also
be on display with individual tiles for sale as a benefit for the Tour. Each
tile in the mosaic is an original work of art, created by local artists.
Sun Valley Sotheby’s International Realty supports the local
art community, by participating in the Ketchum Gallery Walks. Stop by 291 North Main Street to view the works
of local artists during the upcoming 2013/2014 Gallery Walk Tours.
